BDO Jawad Habib hosts BDO Middle East Conference 2007

This annual event is held each year in a different country in which BDO has a presence and hosted by the Member Firm of the respective country. The conference provides an opportunity for face-to-face interaction and exchange of opinions among key personnel from the different offices.

"The aim is to strengthen relationships and put past performance and future plans in perspective", explained Senior Partner, Jawad Habib Jawad and Senior Partner of BDO Middle East.

Getting all the Regional partners together each year, provides a great chance to communicate ideas, experiences and discuss emerging issues. The conference, which was held at Shangri La's Barr Al Jissah, kicked off on the 2nd of April and concluded on the 4th of April 2007. All Partners were given a virtual tour into the Omani culture and were able to explore potential investment opportunities through the exclusive presentation by Saleh Al Ghazali- Director of Investment Promotion of the Omani Center of Investment Promotion and Export Development.

Dr Nasser Saidi, Chief Economist of Dubai International Financial Center was also hosted by BDO Jawad Habib at the event where he presented participants with a vivid insight into Corporate Governance.

A reception was held on the occasion of hosting the BDO Middle East Conference 2007 at the Al Bandar Ballroom of Barr Al Jissah where more than 350 VIP guests from Oman had the opportunity to interact with BDO Partners and top officials.
