Tameer dedicate 2 buses for 'Sharjah City for Human Services'

The donation was presented during a visit by a group of Tameer Holding representatives who made a tour of the city's departments - during which they heard a presentation by the Manager of School for the mentally handicapped about the activities and programs the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services are involved with, including education, empowerment, recruiting and social integration for those with special needs.

Tameer's involvement in such initiative comes as the firm recognizes and emphasizes on the importance of communication between various companies, institutions and large organizations with their involvement with charitable, humanitarian and public services.

"We highly value this generous gift given by Tameer, and we thank the firm and its management for their contribution that demonstrates their understanding of the important role the private sector can play in developing the local society. We hope that this contribution motivates other firms from the private sector to also play a vital role in helping those less fortunate, especially those with special needs", said Shaikha Jamila Bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, VP Sharjah Family Supreme Council & Director-General for Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services.

Tameer's involvement with charitable organizations is extensive and most recently the firm sponsored ADDEX 2007, (Abu Dhabi Disability Exhibition), which took place in Abu Dhabi from 19 till 23 March 2007.
