Tameer's involvement in such initiative comes as the firm recognizes and emphasizes on the importance of communication between various companies, institutions and large organizations with their involvement with charitable, humanitarian and public services.
"We highly value this generous gift given by Tameer, and we thank the firm and its management for their contribution that demonstrates their understanding of the important role the private sector can play in developing the local society. We hope that this contribution motivates other firms from the private sector to also play a vital role in helping those less fortunate, especially those with special needs", said Shaikha Jamila Bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, VP Sharjah Family Supreme Council & Director-General for Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services.
"We at Tameer have always been keen to interact with local community organizations, and reflect the desire of the company to show our concern for those who are challenged, particularly individuals with learning disabilities. This dedication is just a simple gesture that can contribute to easing their suffering, and supporting them so they can feel that they are a part of mainstream society, especially since many of these persons have the talent and skill to make a definitive contribution to life. What we at Tameer are doing, is providing both moral and material support, so to help guide them to success",
said Mr. Ezzedine Khaled, Assistant to President, Tameer Holding.
Tameer's involvement with charitable organizations is extensive and most recently the firm sponsored ADDEX 2007, (Abu Dhabi Disability Exhibition), which took place in Abu Dhabi from 19 till 23 March 2007.
