  • PRESS RELEASE

Abu Dhabi based Digital Media Middle East (DMME) has been appointed Adobe's first UAE registered user group.

The community-driven group will support members in troubleshooting, networking, as well as providing a forum where members can learn more about Adobe's latest products tools, tips, and technology.

DMME was set up by the community to recognise and support contributions of Adobe users and future activities include monthly seminars, workshops and training for members.

"This dedicated user group will address issues plaguing professionals at all levels and provide key solutions through regular meetings and Adobe expert visits,"

said Jacob Alex, Adobe's Middle East Channel Manager. "To accomplish this, we were looking for a partner to address local concerns and help users share ideas, experiences and product evaluations, especially for our new technologies.

"With DMME's regional presence, proficiency, passion and experience in managing user groups, it was a natural choice. Together, we will strengthen this Adobe community's networking by unveiling our latest technology innovations and reveal techniques that will turn novices into experts."

DMME members range from amateurs to professional and experienced users, and incentives include discounts and special offers on Adobe products. At a recent meeting, members discussed plans for the group's upcoming activities.

"There was a need for a local and dedicated user group for Adobe users in the region, especially to tackle issues with localised Adobe applications." said Magnus Nystedt, co-founder, DMME. "Through this community initiative, we aim to help members solve common issues. Going forward, we hope to expand our reach as membership grows to include Adobe users in other Middle East countries."
