DIA throughput growth

Passenger throughput at Dubai International Airport crossed the 8m mark in Q1 this year, registering an increase of 17.7% over the corresponding period last year. The airport handled a total of 8.1m passengers from January to March, as compared to almost 6.9m in the corresponding period in 2006. Passenger traffic is expected to reach 33m this year and up to 60m by 2010.
