Brits see passport hike

UK citizens living in the UAE have seen a major spike in the cost of passports, reported Gulf News. The price of a standard 32 page passport has risen by more than 30% to Dhs835, more than double its level just two years ago. The cost of a 48 page passport, useful for regular travellers, has also lifted by a similar margin and now stands at Dhs1,010.
