The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) is a registered non-political, non-profit, tax-exempt organization that was established in 1991 by concerned people in the United States to address the medical and humanitarian crisis facing Palestinian youths in the Middle East. We have since expanded to help suffering children from other Middle Eastern nations, based only on their medical needs. The PCRF helps to locate free medical care for children from the Middle East who are unable to get the necessary and specialized treatment in their homeland.Since 1991, over 750 children have been or are currently being treated outside the Middle East through the PCRF. We also send medical personnel, equipment, and supplies to the region to treat difficult cases and train local doctors.
Thanks to the support of the UAE Red Crescent, we were able to set up a UAE Chapter in 2006. Since then, the PCRF has been able to secure free medical treatment for 2 Palestinian children in the U.A.E, and will continue to work hard to locate free medical care on a case-by-case basis for children in need.
The first charity event of the PCRF in the UAE was held past February under the patronage of H.R.H Princess Haya Bint Al Hissain, Wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The event featured the Trio Joubran and Dr. Hanan Ashrawi, member of the Palestinian Legislation Council.
