OOMCO has been invited and selected to participate in prequalification exercises owing to the Company's experience and track record since the withdrawal of BP from the Sultanate of Oman in 2002. Considering this is the third time in 6 months that OOMCO has been approached for overseas opportunities, the Company's reputation and recognition for excellence is spreading to the international arena. With these increasing trends in sight, OOMCO will in the near future represent the Sultanate as the Omani brand on the world map of petroleum retailing.

Mr. Omar Qatan, Chief Executive Officer of omanoil said:

"In the first bidding for Pakistan State Oil, OOMCO emerged as one of the top six consortiums to have succeeded amongst international competitors. Being part of such ventures is proof that the hard works put forth into the Company by the staff have been internationally recognised. The sheer invitation of becoming a potential strategic partner in such exercises also demonstrates the capabilities and strategic outlook of the OOMCO."

OOMCO continues to challenge its horizon and explore new frontiers to bring this 100% Omani organisation and the Sultanate into the international petroleum market.
