Gulf Air, restructuring plan
- Bahrain: Tuesday, April 10 - 2007 at 16:57
Gulf Air's Board of Directors has approved a restructuring plan aimed at significantly reducing company losses. The plan will involve tough measures including cost cutting across the entire company, streamlining the structure of the organisation and making network operations more efficient. Gulf Air will reduce its fleet from 34 to 28 aircraft, while network operations will be improved by reducing the ground-time of aircraft and limiting passenger connection times.
