Apple sells 100m iPods

Apple has sold its 100 millionth iPod in just over five years, claiming on its website that iPod is the "fastest selling music player in history". The original iPod is now in its fifth generation, with the range expanded to video iPods, iPod nanos and iPod shuffles. Apple also says it has sold 2.5bn songs, 50m TV shows and 1.3m movies through its iTunes store.
