GCC-China trade could grow 20%

Trade between China and the GCC states could grow by up to 20% to $17.3bn in 2007, according to the UAE economy minister, cited by Reuters. The UAE is China's biggest trading partner in the Gulf, with trade between the two countries was worth $2.14bn in 2006. The two sides are due to hold a round of free trade talks before June.
