Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, EPSON Middle East, said,
"We are eagerly awaiting the start of GITEX Saudi Arabia 2007 as this edition of the event promises to be bigger than all previous editions. With Saudi Arabia's IT market growing at a tremendous pace in the recent years, the significance of specialised trade shows such as GITEX has amplified."
"The IT boom and the surging computer penetration in the Kingdom have also meant that the demand for computer peripherals like printers, scanners, copiers and projectors have risen correspondingly. EPSON is keen to capitalise on this market situation by focusing on latest technological innovations that are driving consumer buying patters in the Middle East as a whole and Saudi Arabia in particular," he added.
EPSON's stand at GITEX will host its latest range of 3LCD projectors with USB connectivity and multi-screen technology-the EMP-TW-D3, the EMP-TW700, the EMP-6100 and the EMP-1715 models-offering ideal lightweight, portable and easily adjustable projection devices for businesses, corporate offices and professionals on the move.
At GITEX Saudi Arabia, EPSON will also showcase its proprietary expertise in wireless technology that has not only enabled the projection of full-screen, full-motion MPEG2 video with audio, but has also taken the concept of wireless projection to new levels.
EPSON will also demonstrate the capabilities of its superior quality 4x6 photo dedicated printers - PictureMate PM 100, PictureMate PM 280 and PictureMate PM 240 - that all work in standalone mode. They are easy to use with fast print speeds up to 42 seconds per photo and also provide direct printing from digital camera memory cards, USB DIRECT PRINT, PictBridge and an optional Bluetooth adapter.
