Etisalat sponsors Abu Dhabi Open Catamaran Championship 'Etisalat Regatta'

The Catamaran Series 2007 is organized by the ADIMSC in cooperation with the UAE Marine Sports Federation and Etisalat is the sole sponsor.

A prize giving ceremony will be held directly after the competition ends, at the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club ADIMSC on Saturday, 14th April 2007. Over 10 participants will be competing for the first three places, and a special prize will go to the Catamaran that is "First over the Finish Line" overall.

Mr. Salem Al Romaithy, Assistant General Manager, ADIMSC said

"I am very pleased to announce the launch of the UAE Open Catamaran Series 2007. This championship is a great opportunity for the participants to demonstrate their Catamaran sailing skills. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Etisalat for supporting and sponsoring this race. As a national company, it has repeatedly demonstrated its support and commitment to society."
