  • PRESS RELEASE

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has recently been honored by the ArtWorks Company in the form of a trilogy representing the Celebration of the Arabian horse, Dubai's Camel Caravan and the Flight of Falcons.

This was marked in a party in the presence of Abdullah Al Madani, CEO of the Corporate Support Services representing the RTA, H. Kenneth Palmer, ArtWorks Managing Director, Dr. Aysha Al Busmait, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication of RTA, Mrs. Patricia McGourty Palmer, ArtWorks Managing Director.

Abdullah Al Madani thanked ArtWorks for this good gesture that indicates the profound understanding and solid relations between the RTA of all its agencies and the private sector's companies operating in Dubai, praising the artwork and the efforts exerted to produce it in such an expressive shape.

"We highly rate this artwork that aims at ensuring a number of benefits through selling the trilogy pieces at Christie's Auction in London and allotting the revenues in favor of the charities in the UAE; in addition this artwork represents an embodiment of the cultural and heritage symbols in Dubai that stand for the authenticity of the Arabian horses and their beauties, the camel endurance in the desert where both were used as transport means in the region and the falcon that represents the pride in Arabian desert; but even with the huge development the UAE is experiencing on all fronts, particularly the transport sector, these symbols are still dignified to people in this part of the world," said Al Madani.

For his part, H. Kenneth Palmer praised the painstaking of the RTA to deliver the best and most effective services through finding a number of innovative solutions and strategic initiatives that tone with the evolvement Dubai is going through in all trade, economic, service, financial and other vital sectors.
