USRobotics wins prestigious best SMB Networking Vendor award at Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2007
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, April 12 - 2007 at 15:40
- PRESS RELEASE
USRobotics, a Platinum Equity company, has won the 'Best SMB Networking Vendor' award at the Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2007, which was held recently at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Dubai Marina.
SMBs have undergone a transition in recent years due to increased availability of Wi-Fi products and access, as well as the convergence of data, voice, and video applications. However, they are too small for support from major technology providers who build massive networks for thousands of employees. Consequently, these companies find themselves without the guidance and support needed to build an SMB network. USRobotics provides these customers with solutions designed specifically for their business requirements.
"We are pleased to win another important award at the Network Middle East Innovation Awards," said Sumit Kumar, Regional Manager, Middle East and North Africa, USRobotics. "Winning the Best SMB Networking Vendor award recognizes our increased focus on SMBs in recent years, which we have differentiated our offerings to benefit this segment."
"Our wide range of wired and wireless networking products have presented a value-for-money and high performance offering to clients across all sectors including the SMBs," added Kumar.
"We continue to focus our efforts on the emerging home connectivity market and small enterprise networking solutions, so this segment can take advantage of USRobotics' fully integrated products for access, security, speed, and range. At USR, we continually strive for excellence and seek to raise the bar in product innovation, and it is rewarding to see our efforts acknowledged," concluded Kumar.
Sponsored by Network Magazine Middle East, the annual awards seek to recognise individuals and organisations responsible for driving standards and increased adoption of network infrastructures across the region.
