Borouge is a joint venture established in 1998 between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Borealis. It is currently implementing a multi billion dollar expansion at its world-scale, state-of-the-art production facility in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The project, called Borouge 2, is due for completion in 2010 and will triple the company's polyolefin production capacity.
