The collection which previewed over 40 Kaftans, introduced a striking mix of traditional Middle Eastern design fused with a European influence which offered a modern twist on the traditional Kaftans. With the monochrome trend carrying over into summer 2007, black and white featured heavily in the collection as well as influences of turquoise.

Designed for women across the gulf, Al Yashmac designs remain traditional yet are highly glamourous and fashionable, embellished with silk thread and Swarovski crystals. Using glittering colors, precious stones, crystal and high quality materials the collection has successfully created a range of distinctive looks offering the Arab lady a glamourous and sophisticated collection.

With a team of four designers gathering inspiration from around the globe, they annually travel to fashion shows in Paris, Beirut and around the UAE. Sourcing inspiration from top designers from Italy, Paris, and Arabic countries, Al Yashmac's graceful Kaftan follows key trends and has progressed to reflect the mix of Eastern and Western styles.

The Arab Fashion Designer Pioneer, Eng. Mohammed S N Bin Samhan, said: "Following the latest fashions, our designs are moving towards a more simplistic look with less hand-embroidery. We have re-worked previous patterns so the latest collection has a sleeker and more elegant cut appealing to the modern day Arab lady."

Al Yashmac is a 25-year success story and has stores based around the Gulf region and is expanding within the UAE with their fifteenth store opening later this month in Dubai's Festival City.

With one day left of fashion shows unveiling both traditional and modern bridal looks as portrayed by a cluster of leading names, and many of the over 300 exhibitors offering exclusive discounts, The Bride Show Dubai provides the perfect venue for all women who enjoy fashion and beauty.

Visitors have the opportunity to seek advice and gather inspiration from demonstrations taking place throughout Friday, while competitions offering the chance to win a honeymoon to the Seychelles from Wild Discovery and the newly launched Scent of the Bride Show draw will continue to take place.

Exhibitors have also assembled from across the UAE and other parts of the Middle East, India and China and the Far East, to promote a broad range of wedding services, from beauty and hair services and products to photography and video production, floral and stage design, wedding stationary, cakes and confectionary and limousine hire.
