Tajikistan President in a high profile visit to DUBAL

In a high profile visit reflecting of the international reputation of one of Dubai's great business success stories, HE Mr. Ahmed Al Tayer, Vice-Chairman, DUBAL the 12 April 2007 welcomed HE Mr. Emomali Rakhmonov, the president of Tajikistan to the aluminum giant's premises.
HE Mr. Emomali Rakhmonov was officially welcomed and formally received by HE Mr. Al Tayer, and company executives. He was conducted around several of the plant's operations, including its massive potlines, DUBAL's renowned smelting operations area and other important locations within the vast aluminium plant.
"The visit has been a great success. HE Mr. Emomali Rakhmonov's visit afforded DUBAL the opportunity to showcase its unique methods of operation. In meeting with the Tajikistan president, DUBAL has found a highly esteemed friend and the certainty that any future relationship between us will be beneficial to both DUBAL and the UAE, as a whole," said Mr. Al Tayer.
"What I saw of DUBAL is very impressive. It is an incredible industrial site, with excellent state-of-the-art technology. The management runs the entire operation extremely professionally and to the highest international standards. The business operation at DUBAL is clearly based on a very successful model," said HE Mr. Emomali Rakhmonov.
