GCC sales up for Ford

Ford SUVs and passenger cars in the GCC region have seen a 16% sales lift during Q1, when compared to the same period in 2006. Sales of the mid-size Mondeo have more than tripled, while the Expedition SUV has seen a 70% increase. Other models proving popular include the Mercury Grand Marquis, which has seen a 37% sales lift, and the Escape SUV, the sales of which have risen by 23%.
