Avaya nominates new Regional Vice President for Central-Eastern Europe/Middle East and Africa

Avaya (NYSE:AV), a global leader in corporate communications networking solutions and services, has announced the appointment of David E. Gromek as Regional Vice President for its Central-Eastern Europe/Middle East and Africa (CEE/MEA) sub-region.
For the last five years, Mr Gromek has been located and working in the CEE/MEA region based out of Avaya's CEE/MEA headquarters located in Vienna, Austria where he was Chief Operating Officer for the sub-region. Previously, he was Managing Director for Avaya in South Eastern Europe and also assumed regional roles for both Avaya and Lucent focused on the development of indirect sales channels. During his career, Mr. Gromek has also held positions with Dun and Bradstreet, the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association and Wagner Division, Cooper Industries.
Mr Gromek possesses an undergraduate degree in Economics and a masters degree in international finance.
