Participating at GHEDEX - Gulf Higher Education Exhibition as a Platinum Sponsor, Ahlia University is the first private university licensed by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
All the professional programme offered by AU are affiliated and accredited by highly reputed and distinguished leading universities in the UK and USA and will be showcased at the GHEDEX Exhibition which will be organised from 16 - 18 April 2007 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre. The curricula of all degrees consist of a core component and a specialization component. The core component emphasizes the philosophy of the university, which gives a special attention to the humanities and social sciences to assist the students to become enlightened humans and to develop a tolerance and open frame of mind to all mankind.
Ahlia University consists of two colleges and four centres; College of Mathematical Sciences and Information Technology, College of Banking and Finance, Centre of Bioengineering and Health Technology, Centre of Fine Arts & Spatial Technology, Centre of Communication and Centre of Humanities and Social Sciences.
With the opening of AU in Bahrain, students throughout the Gulf have, for the first time, the opportunity to join a truly productive and challenging institute of higher education. They receive a technologically sophisticated education and a highly distinctive, liberal arts education. All the courses are taught by a select of faculty who possess outstanding academic credentials and have relevant practical and professional experience.
