For the first time in the UAE, du will offer this service wherein customers can pay or recharge their mobile bills instantly with their credit card by simply sending an SMS. Paying instantly, anytime, anywhere, is what du's Mobile Payments is about.
Additional options such as automated weekly or monthly payments provide customers the peace of mind of no longer worrying about forgetting to pay bills or running out of credit. Monthly Plan and Pay as you Go subscribers both have the option of paying self and other Monthly Plan bills or recharging Pay as you Go lines for self and friends and family, keeping everyone connected at all times. For the frequent-flying customer, the convenience of mobile payments is available while roaming abroad.
Pay as you Go customers can also opt for recharge through Mobile Payment on reaching low balance of AED 2 on their Pay as you Go line. The customer will be notified through an SMS of the low balance and can recharge his line.

Offered at no extra cost to customers, the service is available for both Monthly Plan and Pay as you Go subscribers and can be used to pay du bills and du recharges for the prepaid option. Customer can use VISA or MasterCard credit cards or Diners Club, card for Mobile Payments and can register the same on the du website, or by calling Self Care on 135 or by visiting any du store.
The service is ensures privacy with a confidential registration option and a Mobile Payment passcode, chosen and known only by the customer. To authorise any payment from the registered credit card only part of that passcode is provided by the customer. Payment to another du Monthly plan or Pay as you Go line requires registration of the recipients line before the payment is being made.
Mobile Payment service in the future will be expanded to allow du customers to pay their utility bills and much more opening an easy and innovative channel of payments while on the move.
