Emirates Financial Towers hands over the next stage of construction work from Habtoor to TAV

After signing of its agreement with Emirates Financial Towers (EFT) to implement construction works in the firm's project located at the Dubai International Financial Center, TAV (Tepe Akfen VIE Investment Construction and Operation) officially received the land from Habtoor who initiated the groundwork for the state-of-the-art development.

The ceremony between Habtoor and TAV occurred under the intendancy of Al Qurq Engineering Consultancy who is overseeing the implementation of construction works for the project, amid a large gathering. Present were representatives of Projacs for the project management, Al Habtoor for the groundwork's, Al Qurq Engineering Consultancy for the constructive works, CPG the international designer, TAV for construction works and MAG Robotic Systems who will develop the high-tech parking facility which has been slated as one of the first of its kind within the Middle East.

Habtoor started groundwork's last June, after it was chosen from between 5 important firms applying for that undertaking.

"With each passing day, we make progress in the implementation of the EFT. Work has been swift and ongoing and preparations for the fruition of this development have not stopped since the first day. I feel we are one team working for the completion of this huge project despite being made up of several multinational companies." said Mr. Hani Abu Auida, EFT Chief Executive Officer. "I would also like to thank the company Habtoor for its commitment to the completion of this project and wish success to the company TAV in their new mission."

Emirates Financial Towers is a twin tower project consisting of 26 floors of Grade-A office space, retail offices, and residential units. Coalescing premier commercial and residential space, the architects of the stylish Emirates Financial Towers have presented a unique design that features a distinctive elliptical profile with an embedded transparent Sky Bridge.
