Allinson brings with him over 25 years experience in business development and senior management in the IT industry in the UK, Cayman Islands and the Middle East. He is responsible for reorganizing and streamlining its Middle East operations.
From his beginnings in 1981 as a Product Marketing Consultant at Texas Instruments, he has worked in the IT industry with many well known organisations including Ashton Tate, Novell, IBM and Xerox. His last assignment in the Middle East was with Online Distribution as Divisional Director.
Anis Krichen, Financial Manager, Opennet MEA said, 'David has a wealth of experience in growing and developing businesses, creating winning strategies to strengthen their position in their individual market segments. His appointment is part of our new expansion strategy which involves expanding our market penetration through our business partners.'
Opennet MEA's began its new MEA reorganization in March 2006 with the establishment of its new expanded headquarters in Dubai Media City while transforming its former offices located at Dubai Internet City into a fully-equipped training centre. Its regional expansion also includes the opening of its Saudi Arabia branch in Jeddah in July 2006.
