British Council Dubai rolls out professional development training courses for the public
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, November 09 - 2002 at 09:46
- PRESS RELEASE
The British Council Dubai is extending its Professional Development activities by offering selected training courses to members of the public.
Mary White, Professional Development Manager at the British Council Dubai, said:
"The British Council has responded to public interest in our Professional Development training courses after we successfully piloted courses earlier this year and this has encouraged us to move forward.
"It is a fact that not everyone has access to training in the workplace so we believe there is a strong latent demand for high quality, value for money training courses that help private individuals improve their skills, work performance and ultimately, their career prospects."
The British Council's Professional Development programme offers training courses in areas such as communications, time management, customer service skills, teamwork and negotiation. As well as public courses, the Professional Development training team runs in-house courses for some of the region's biggest multinational companies.
