A strong representation from Cyprus at The Office Exhibition 2007
- United Arab Emirates: Monday, April 16 - 2007 at 13:57
- PRESS RELEASE
As the countdown begins to the Office Exhibition 2007, to be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from the 3rd to 5th June, office design professionals eagerly anticipate what is the Middle East's premier event for the industry.
"There are some great designs coming out of Cyprus at the moment, says the event's Exhibition Director, Paula Al Chami. "This is an excellent opportunity for them to showcase their work in the Middle East."
Two of the Cypriot companies confirmed for the show are EKA Group and Fasma.
EKA group operates in the building materials sector. This family business has been in existence for the past 60 years and has operated in the GCC for the last six. Its Dubai subsidiary - EKA RockArt Emirates, deals in GFRC (Glass-Fibered Reinforced Concrete) and has been extensively involved in the Atlantis project on Palm Jumeirah.
The company is also promoting The Hiross FSS - a new 'revolutionary' underfloor air-conditioning system, and intends to run a seminar on this new concept at the Essential FM (Facilities Management) Seminars running during the event.
Since being established in 1963, Fasma has built a reputation as a manufacturer of the highest quality office furniture and boasts a client list of many of Cyprus' top organisations, government departments and banks. Catering for a wide variety of needs, the company offers systems for secretarial and reception areas, partitioning, office chairs and "anything else that a modern organisation would need." It also offers custom made furniture when required. Fasma is now keen to enter the Middle East market.
"We are taking part in this exhibition - positive that our products will stand out, wishing to meet primarily with importers, architects and designers, so that we can ultimately start exporting our products to Dubai," says a company representative.
