Hinnawi new CEO of Batelco Jordan

Batelco Jordan, a Batelco Bahrain Group subsidiary, announced lately the joining of Ihab Hinnawi as its new Chief Executive Officer.
"Joining Batelco Jordan and becoming a member of this energetic, innovative and achieving team, is a great honor. As CEO of Batelco Jordan, realizing the Group's vision and positioning the Jordanian ICT sector as a leader by creating and supporting the appropriate infrastructure is my utmost objective. His Majesty King Abdullah II's vision of Jordan as a regional ICT hub is what Batelco will work on delivering. " said Hinnawi.
"Batelco seeks to increase its investments in the telecommunication sector and plays a significant role in the development of the local economy. It constantly develops its employment strategy in order to benefit from what Jordan offers in regards to both skill and knowledge."
Hinnawi joined Umniah as part its founding team in Sept, 2004, with more than 17 years of experience in a number of organizations in the industrial sector. Hinnawi's experiences range from finalizing ground-breaking deals, restructuring of large companies, to conducting full feasibility studies to create and develop new operations and facilities locally and internationally
In his capacity as Operations Director at Umniah, Hinnawi led the restructure of the sales and customer service operation departments in line with the company's vision. He was instrumental in designing Umniah's launch marketing plan and planned and created the product and service portfolio. Hinnawi also was mastermind behind a system for the sales and marketing departments. His role in Umniah acquiring Jordan's first FBWA (Fixed Broadband Wireless Access( license was quite commendable
Hinnawi's experience and knowledge make him ready to take on the challenges the business presents and further contribute to the success and growth of Batelco Jordan.
