- United Arab Emirates: Monday, April 16 - 2007 at 15:01
- PRESS RELEASE
Jadaf Dubai has announced that it has reworked its corporate strategic plan to conform to the requirements of the ship repair yard's integration with Dubai Drydocks World and its relocation to Dubai Maritime City from Dubai Creek.
Aziz Saeed Al Zaqri, Manager, Planning & Development Department, Jadaf Dubai, said:"Steps have been taken to ensure that the changes do not in any way affect the substance of our strategic plan. They are designed to integrate Jadaf Dubai's mission with the new parent company, DD World, in order to ensure distinguished services. The readjustments in our planning reaffirm our commitment to excellence in the professional services we offer in the dry docks sector."
"The revised plan is customer-centric and focuses on corporate best practices such as transparency in decision-making and administrative processes, continuous training for the staff, upgrading and integrating the database, and building leadership qualities in management executives."
Jadaf Dubai's human resources development program is in accordance with the Dubai Strategic Plan, 2015, announced by HH Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aimed at widening the base of sustainable career opportunities for UAE nationals.
"At the core of Jadaf Dubai's strategic plan is our policy of developing quality human resources, with enhanced focus on UAE nationals by giving them the opportunity to develop their potentials to the full. We invest in grooming future leaders, besides striving to achieve the highest standards of technology and customer satisfaction."
Jadaf Dubai, established 29 years ago, is a recognized ship repair destination for small and mid-sized vessels coming from the Gulf region, South Asia, Africa and Europe.
It has also provided quality training facilities for technicians from neighboring countries.
The new Jadaf Dubai complex at Dubai Maritime City will include 82 medium and small sized vessel maintenance and repair workshops, 82 warehouses of 5,000 square meters each, more than 30 commercial outlets specializing in marine accessories, spare parts, engines and oils, in addition to office units, showrooms and restaurants.
DMC is being positioned as one of the largest integrated maritime hubs in the world when fully completed.
