By combining exclusive flight fares on SWISS with favourable land arrangements, travel agents are able to offer customers value for money.

Felix Rodel, SWISS' Director: Head of Sales for Africa & the Middle East, said: "We have partnered with our key tour operators early this year to give customers enough time to see the value in visiting Switzlerland this summer. Our special offers consider all the necessaries for travellers both on the ground and in the air, making the holiday planning process all the more easier."

Some of the packages on offer include the eight days/seven nights 'Swiss Highlights' deal, inclusive of return Economy class tickets to Zurich, a Swiss card with five transfers on second class, two overnight stays in Geneva, Interlaken and Lucern and one overnight stay in Zermatt, all including breakfast. An excursion to Jungfraujoch, the 'top of Europe' and Pilatus have also been woven into the itinerary.

The 'Tops of Switzlerland' offering captures the different faces of Switzerland. The five days/four nights package is inclusive of return Economy class tickets to Zurich, a Swiss transfer ticket including excursions to Jungfraujoch and Pilatus and two overnight stays in Interlaken and Lucerne with breakfast.

The 'Glacier Experience' package was designed with the more adventurous in mind; the seven days/six nights package includes return Economy class tickets to Zurich, a Swiss Card with five transfers in second class, two overnight stays in Interlaken and Lucerne and one overnight stay in Zermatt and Chur, all including breakfast. Excursions to Schilthorn and Titlis are also part of the itinerary, as is the opportunity to experience an ice flyer chairlift.

The 'Southern Hint' package is, as the name suggests a special seven days/six nights deal that gives travellers a taste of the southern parts of the country. The package offers return Economy class tickets to Zurich, a Swiss card with four transfers in second class, two overnight stays in Lugano, Lucerne and Interlaken with breakfast, an excursion to Titlis, inclusive of the ice flyer chairlift and Schilthorn, second class return train tickets from Lugano to Melide and entrance to Swiss Miniatur.

The 'Tops of Europe' package has been created to include other exciting European destinations. The seven days/six nights deal is inclusive of two overnight stays in Paris, Berne and Rome, and also extends rail tickets between destinations as well as transfer tickets and excursions.

SWISS will serve 70 destinations in 42 countries through its summer timetable, which operates between March 25 and October 28, 2007. SWISS has also worked with tour operators to offer summer packages in other European destinations.
