The industry showpiece which takes place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC) on 3-5 June will play host to the AAF Pavilion, an area of more than 1,050 square metres.

Taking full advantage of the entire Al Multaqa Hall, UAE-based AAF which in 2006 supplied enough flooring and carpeting to cover 400 football fields (over 3.5 million square metres), will also have four additional satellite stands in other halls, serving as stand-alone presentations and reaffirming their participation throughout the industry showcase.

Shahriar Khodjasteh, Group Marketing Director, AAF, said, "The size of our stand at the Hotel Show is proportionate to our presence in the marketplace - a leadership position we are determined to maintain. The hospitality industry represents a major part of our business and The Hotel Show is the ideal platform for us to showcase what's new and what's hot."

Al Aqili Furnishings, which represents more than 50 of the world's biggest names in flooring and furnishings, will focus on their hospitality and contract solutions, which includes flooring, lighting, fabrics and furniture. AAF will also be announcing a number of new alliances and partnerships as well as displaying products from some of their latest principals.

Maggie Moore, Exhibition Director, The Hotel Show 2007, commented, "This is yet again a major commitment to The Hotel Show by AAF and clearly demonstrates our status as the leading event in the region for suppliers to the hospitality industry."

Apart from the Dubai Mall Hotel contract, the company has completed flooring projects for some of the most prestigious hotels in the region, including the Emirates Towers, Grand Hyatt, Fairmont, Shangri-La, Al Qasr, Mina Al Salam and the Lake Tower Hotel in the new Burj Dubai District.

"Not only is the existing hotel industry booming, there are many major luxury hotel projects still to come online before the end of the decade. We know that being at the Hotel Show is the place to network with decision-makers in this sector," added Khodjasteh.

Organised by dmg world media Dubai Ltd one of the region's leading exhibition companies based in Dubai, The Hotel Show 2007 will offer the very latest equipment, technology and service innovations for the hospitality and leisure industries. The event has grown inline with the industry and this year will cover over 13,000 square metres of exhibition space a 25 per cent increase over 2006.
