- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, April 19 - 2007 at 15:46
- PRESS RELEASE
In line with its aggressive growth and expansion strategy, Digiphoto, a leading souvenir imaging service provider in the region, has announced the opening of new imaging sites in strategic locations in Dubai and Singapore, reinforcing the company's position as a market leader and pioneer in the field of souvenir imaging.
DigiPhoto's commendable success in Dubai in such a short span has resulted in the company being invited by other Asian and European countries to set up operations there. Consequently, DigiPhoto expanded into the high potential market of Singapore, opening outlets in Sentosa Island and the Night Safari. The most recent locations in Singapore include - the Singapore Zoo and Songs of the Sea.
K.S. Ramakrishnan, Director, Digiphoto EIS said, "The growth we have achieved so far has certainly been overwhelming and now that we see ourselves making an impression even in markets outside the UAE, it is most encouraging, and probably, an indication of our progression in the domain of souvenir imaging. The potential for our services seems unlimited in markets such as UAE and Singapore, which attract millions of tourists each year from all parts of the world."
"What has made cities like Dubai and Singapore favoured holiday destinations, apart from the obvious, is the presence of well-planned entertainment centers that create a distinct environment for tourists. DigiPhoto has been successful in capitalising on the ensuing business opportunity by offering our innovative photography services at these strategic locations," he added.
Singapore's Songs of the Sea is an extravaganza set in the sea and involves a spectacular show complete with pyrotechnics, water jets, lasers, special computer imaging, flame bursts and music. On the other hand, the award-winning Singapore Zoo is a major tourist attraction, housing a variety of rare animals, birds and reptiles in spacious, landscaped enclosures.
In Dubai, DigiPhoto is present in key locations such as Wild Wadi, Ski Dubai, Bab Al Shams, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Arabian Adventure desert safaris, within Madinat Jumeirah - at the Mina Salam Hotel, Souk Madinat and Al Qasr, and most recently at Al Sahra Desert Resort.
DigiPhoto's business model is such that the partner site gets the advantage of increased awareness of their attraction. The technology used at DigiPhoto is Kodak's highly advanced EPX imaging platform that enables professional photographers to capture the best possible images that an amateur may not be able to achieve unaided.
