BBC man alive says Abbas

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has told news reporters that missing BBC Gaza Correspondent Alan Johnston, who disappeared on March 12, is still alive, according to the BBC. A previously unheard of militant group had last week claimed it had killed Johnston. Abbas said he is working with British authorities to try and secure Johnston's release.
