Alliance Housing Bank reinforces commitment to SQU

The main objective of this initiative was to provide insight into creative marketing techniques whilst keeping students up-to-date with the latest market trends and technologies.

Acknowledged for their innovative and progressive marketing strategies and tactics; SQU were delighted to welcome Mr Karim Boukarroum, Head of Marketing at the Alliance Housing Bank to present at all seminars. He said; "I have been absolutely delighted to share my expertise in marketing with the students of SQU. Their existing courses have prepared them with a solid understanding of marketing practice - it gave me great pleasure to provide them with practical examples and case studies to further assist in their learning and development."

The seminars covered four main topics including; branding, e-marketing, media and advertising, and explained how to use the power of the media and e-solutions to create competitive advantage. The four seminars gathered other industry experts and professionals who gave students useful and practical ideas on how to plan and implement a marketing campaign to successfully develop business.

Mr. Boukarroum later added: "These seminars were a great start; I strongly believe that increased dialogue is needed between organisations and students to fully cultivate the next generation of managers and entrepreneurs in Oman."
