- PRESS RELEASE
Xerox Emirates signed a partnership agreement with the UAE-based education management and consultancy network Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI) at the close of the Gulf Education Technology Exhibition (GETEX) 2007 this week.
The agreement makes AMSI a Xerox Strategic Business partner, said Bilal Hamadeh, Sales Director of Xerox Emirates, and allows it to expand its client service offerings. At its most basic, the agreement will enable education-sector clients with printing requirements to use Xerox solutions through AMSI.
AMSI's Document Management Solution, an AMSI-Xerox alliance, provides a one-stop shop that allows a school the ability to print and document at its own pace tailoring its material to its own specific needs whilst maintaining a high level of print quality. Through AMSI's advanced software and design based on the Xerox high quality digital printer. AMSI's Document Management Solution is integrated into the rest of a school's operation to allow for a seamless process. From the moment a student registers, they are allotted with the appropriate text books and printed materials. Furthermore, parents are continuously in touch with the students learning environment via the various publications and printed communications.
The significant financial benefits for any school, with more than 1,000 students, employing AMSI-Xerox Document Management Solution makes such a system highly attractive and practical. In addition to reducing turn-around times associated with outsourcing, this on-demand capacity empowers a school to cut costs associated stockpiling and to uphold the integrity and security on its printed matter.
"AMSI is a specialty company, a reputed provider in a highly competitive sector, and we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with them," said Bilal Hamadeh, Sales Director of Xerox Emirates. "We believe their knowledge and understanding of the education world will enable Xerox to make inroads into this community, and we look forward to providing the very best of our expertise to them."
Shawki Ibrahim, Chief Financial Officer of AMSI, said: "AMSI chose to partner with Xerox Emirates, leaders in the field of printing, to bring cutting edge services to the education sector, through introducing innovative, technologically advanced solutions such as digital printing that help schools to improve and enhance students services and quality of education."
AMSI, an academic consultancy and management firm with AED 10 million in paid-up capital, has signed a number of service agreements with schools in and around Dubai. The firm also has plans to expand through the region and internationally.
