Foreign investors purchase AED1.96 billion worth of shares on DFM in 3rd week of April 2007

Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during the 3rd week of April 2007 reached AED1.96 billion, comprising 30 per cent of the total value of shares bought during the period.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors in the 3rd week of April 2007 reached AED1.2 billion, comprising 18.2 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors in the 3rd week of April 2007 reached AED1.1 billion, which constitutes 17 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached AED77.6 million in the 3rd week of April 2007.
