This is a new market for Better Homes, one that has traditionally been serviced by freelance agents.

The move from freelancers to larger agencies is largely owing to the level of exposure generated through the marketing capabilities of the latter, but also in part to a requirement from clients for more structure and transparency on deals that take place. As well as having the largest network and property selection in the region, Better Homes has clearly defined policies and procedures in place to protect their client's interests and simplify the transaction process.

"When a deal is done through a freelancer there is often a chain of people involved which can create problems for the client in terms of; time taken to go through the communication channels, a lack of clarity throughout the transaction and limited access to relevant information." commented Fadi Antar, Manager of Better Homes UAE sales division who went on to say that "At Better Homes, we work directly with buyers and sellers and won't list any property until we have spoken with the owner and gathered all of the information our clients require to make the right decisions"

In line with the launch of the new division, Better Homes will be stepping up its presence within the Arabic media, running classified property ads for the first time.

Commenting on the new venture, Antar said; "As an established local brand, people associate Better Homes with an honest, reliable service" adding that "we have been here for over 20 years and feel now is the right time to use the expertise we have developed to service the local market"

Khalid Al Alawi, currently selling his villa through the new division explained his reason for opting for Better Homes, saying; "Better Homes has a good reputation, I asked people what they thought and most said Better Homes so for me it was the best option."
