Al Mawakeb Schools to increase fees by just 8 per cent

Al Mawakeb Schools, managed by Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI), have announced that their establishments in Al Garhoud and Al Barsha will introduce an eight per cent increase in school fees for next year, half of the 16 per cent maximum allowed by the Dubai Education Council (DEC).
Annual tuition fees at the school are competitive, with KG1 starting at AED11,500 through to Grade 12 at AED28,150. The price includes all books, P.E. uniforms, school uniforms, comprehensive personal accident coverage and, when children reach Grade 11, a notebook computer fully loaded with the material required for the students programme.
Al Mawakeb Schools management company, AMSI, aims to launch 10 new schools in the region over the next five years with a total asset value of around AED400 million.
The company has already been appointed to manage a school portfolio valued at more than AED500 million. The portfolio includes two Al Mawakeb schools in Dubai, the new International School of Arts and Sciences (ISAS) in Al Warqa, Dubai, and the International School of Al Koura in Beirut.
AMSI is an academic consultancy and management firm with AED10 million in paid up capital. The company aims to boost educational standards by introducing innovative, technologically advanced teaching method into the classroom.
