Skywards members already benefit from the Hertz and Emirates partnership by automatically incurring 500 Skywards Miles on each Hertz car rental, and from now until December 15 have the added bonus of an automatic one-car-class upgrade.

The upgrade offer is valid for rentals taken in Europe, Australia and the UAE, on bookings made for a minimum five-day rent of a compact vehicle or above, subject to availability.

Skywards, the frequent flyer programme of Emirates and SriLankan Airlines, presents travellers with attractive offers - including those with prestigious partners in the airline, hotel, retail and financial services industries. With 300,000 members in over 200 countries, Skywards aims to add extra value to members - not simply free travel benefits that members would normally expect of such schemes.

Meanwhile Hertz has promoted Sales Director, Mark Tristram-Walmsley to the position of Sales and Marketing Director. He will report directly to Hertz UK's General Manager, Neil Cunningham, and will continue to operate from the company's UK Headquarters in Hounslow, Middlesex.
