The corporate name has been changed from UAE Offsets Group (UOG) to Offset Program Bureau (OFFSET) to depict its core business of creating value from the armed forces procurements.

"By replacing the name with a simpler, more fitting one, and creating a new logo, we are establishing a new identity that better illustrate who we are and what are our objectives," said Mohamed Saif Al Mazrouei, Chief Executive Officer of the Offset Program Bureau.

"The OFFSET will continue its role as a conduit for effective and viable partnerships between defense contractors and local businessmen. We shall remain committed to creating successful businesses that bring a wide range of benefits including competitiveness, latest technology and economic diversification. At the same time, we seek to provide opportunities for UAE nationals to build promising careers across business and technology areas and to maintain a perfect business environment to lure foreign investments."

The move is aimed at complementing the efforts currently being made to bring the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for comprehensive and sustainable development into reality, and in line with the directives of His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Offset Program Bureau.

The various design components of the Bureau's logo, including colors and fonts have also been changed to infuse a new message and to render it consistent with the current core business.

"By adopting a new name and logo, we are in a better position to convey our message and to carry out our responsibilities in a consistent, transparent and accountable manner," added Al Mazrouei.

He pointed out that the new name and logo will also help OFFSET streamline its operations to offer facilities and services to its current and potential partners to get more acquainted with the Bureau's mission and to easily identify new opportunities.
