Among the many exhibitors who gained good business opportunities from their presence at DIHF, is VITAFLOOR from Norway which offers the next generation conditioning and training system that utilizes the cutting-edge benefits of Whole Body Vibration (WBV) therapy.

Commenting on the excellent response that their product received, Mr. Shashi Thomas from Stableforce, local distributor of Vitafloor said: 'This year's DIHF is really fine, and we have already sold two pieces during the show. A lot of key people are here and we have also received visitors from Germany, Holland and England.' This futuristic product provides equine athletes time-efficient exercise in the convenience of the stall, without breakdown of cell and the physical rigors of traditional exercise, all year through.

With all the extra special features that were organised this year, from riding exhibitions to riding classes, seminars, horse auction, games and more, there was huge interest from both trade specialists and horse enthusiasts. In fact, overall, the total number of visitors who attended the Dubai International Horse Fair 2007 was an impressive 7,833. The inaugural seminars also offered wonderful knowledge sharing forums and attendees were impressed by the level of expertise present.

Talking about his experience at the DIHF, Peter O Reilly a visitor from Ireland said: 'I am very interested in horse racing and we're following all the horses' activities around the world. This fair is very good, and it has certainly met my expectations.'

The Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship (DIAHC) which was held alongside DIHF also drew in the crowds with its excellent showcase of the beauty, agility and heritage of purebred Arabian horses.

Another key highlight at DIHF this year was equine art, which included the live sculpting demonstration by Sally Reece of Equuss Eye. Sally often works from real life models of horses and gets commissioned to do horse sculptures of individual animals from across the world. At DIHF 2007, Sally was admired for her speed and accuracy in detail as she deftly put on a demonstration of her artistic abilities for the crowd. Little wonder that she is leaving the exhibition with the happy knowledge that her presence at the event has really paid off with some good deals coming her way.

Speaking on the last day at the DIHF 2007, Sally says: 'This is our first time at Dubai International Horse Fair, and I have received a good response from visitors, especially for commissioned order by individuals. We are planning to come back again next year with various designs.'

One of the visitors who was very impressed by Sally's show of skill commented, 'I have never seen such a beautiful demonstration of art before. The addition of the equine art feature at this exhibition has been a very good idea by the Organiser.'

As the exciting event came to an end, there was little doubt in anybody's mind that Dubai International Horse Fair next year in March 2008 would be even bigger, more thrilling and even more fruitful than ever.
