Notebook sales lead PC growth

Notebook sales in the EMEA region grew 34% year-on-year in Q1 2007, as total PC shipments rose 13.2% to 19.4m units, according to IDC data. Market leaders HP and Acer reported growth in notebook sales of 57% and 46% year-on-year respectively in the first three months of the year.
