Volvo Construction Equipment presented FAMCO with the award for "Excellent Customer Support Performance in 2006" at Volvo's recently held International Distributor Conference in Dubai. The award, also received by Famco in 2003 and in 2005, is in recognition of the accomplishment of various key performance indicators including the customer satisfaction index in service, parts and service retention and service absorption. The award for "Excellent Customer Support Performance in 2006" is also in recognition of the continuous investments that FAMCO makes in its business resources, including people, facilities and equipment.
"FAMCO's expertise and its approach to providing value added solutions to customers are the corner stone for its customer support," commented Arif Chishti, Divisional Manager for Construction Equipment at FAMCO, who received the award from Scott Hall, Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing Volvo Construction Equipment Group. Chishti commented "This achievement was possible due to the customer oriented focus of our workshop, parts and sales team, and a strong bond with Volvo Construction Equipment International."
