du welcomes visitors with features-loaded pack

The Visitor Mobile Line pack is designed to welcome visitors to the UAE, by providing them with products and services that make them feel as comfortable as they would back home.

Outlining the features that du has included to ensure visitors feel at home, Osman Sultan, CEO du, said: 'From minimum documentation to the mobile line renewal option which is a first in the UAE for visitors, to the free maps, tourist guides and travel folder, what we have put together is a customized welcome package, marketed at a very affordable price and catering to the needs of visitors to the UAE.'

'Visitors can take advantage of a flexible product that they can adopt to their different and evolving needs, regardless of the purpose of their visit, the duration of their stay or the frequency of their trips to the UAE,' he added.

du aims to make all Visitor Mobile Line customers feel as special as its subscribers. The Visitor Mobile Line subscribers will also be provided with International Roaming services, allowing visitors to keep in touch with their UAE friends, family members and colleagues as well, when they return home.

In addition, visitors will be able to use standard du features like Pay by the Second, Me&Mine, M-Payments, MyWorld and Next Generation Mobile services.

Although du has only recently launched, it is already raising the telecom bar in the UAE, as seen in unique features such as its 'pay by the second' billing. The billing scheme allows customers to pay by the second across local and international calls made from the UAE on mobile lines, allowing more calls for less cost and signaling a new precedent for the UAE telecom market. Visitor Mobile Line subscribers also benefit from pay by the second billing.
