"Master Foods is proud to be involved in a program that enables us to use our industry expertise and experience, and help the youth of today become entrepreneurs and qualified professionals of tomorrow," said Ahmed Bayoumi, General Manager of Master Foods Middle East FZE. "We're glad to contribute towards shaping the future of our next generation."
Recently, Master Foods delivered its first of several lectures to the students of Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid High School in Jumeirah. The school's eleventh grade students were introduced to INJAZ's Company Course world-wide curriculum and given an overview of Master Foods' principles and business operations in the Middle East as an example. Being held at Master Foods' headquarter in Jebel Ali, the lecture was followed by a tour through the company's factory where the students were provided an insight into chocolate manufacturing. Over the coming classes, corporate volunteers from Master Foods will share their professional experience, know-how, and success stories with the students and teach them practical training methods to succeed in the private sector.
"We are delighted that a globally renowned company like Master Foods is involved with INJAZ al-Arab, where students have the opportunity to learn from the business insights and managerial experience of multinational companies. This type of interactive learning bridges the gap between what students learn at school and what they need to know for the future - it's a win-win outcome for all,"
said Sulaf Al- Zu'bi, Executive Director of Injaz UAE.
INJAZ al-Arab is the Middle East arm of the international organization called Junior Achievement Worldwide. Each year private sector employees from around the world volunteer to train students in essential business management skills across disciplines including competition analysis, marketing, and understanding macroeconomic factors - all of which impact businesses and industries. INJAZ al-Arab launched its pilot-phase programs in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, to fully expand by the next academic year. More than 11 companies in the UAE support this new initiative.
