The two-day conference will be attended by a number of international Mathematics experts and specialists representing universities, institutions and companies from more than 16 countries. The speakers will present over 70 studies during the conference. It will focus on issues related to applied mathematics, numerical analysis, optimization, statistics, algebra, analysis, differential equations, difference equations, engineering mathematics, industrial mathematics, pure mathematics, mathematics education, bio-mathematics, and financial mathematics. Professor Marc Rosso, from Ecole Normale Superieure, France is also one of the speakers at the conference.
Dr. Arif Sultan Al Hammadi, Manager of Etisalat University College, said:
'The aim of the UAE Math Days is to bring together researchers from the Middle East and around the world to present their developments in areas of Mathematics and Education.'
The first National Math Day was held in 2003, and has achieved exceptional success over the last four years and attracted a large number of international delegates and participants from a wide variety of disciplines, academics and industrial delegates.
