Nuetel launches telephony softphone

Nuetel Communications, the real alternative provider of the next generation's telecommunication services in Bahrain, has announced today the launch of its telephony Softphone in Bahrain.
The new service will enable the users the ability to make high quality telephony calls with a phone application on their PCs or laptops and will enable them to receive fixed line and mobile telephone calls on their Softphone wherever they are in the world.
The new service will provide the users with a telephone number starting with 160 provide all the advantages such as highly reduced international calls, as well as mobility and class 5 features such as call hold, forwarding etc.
"The use of Voice over IP (VOIP) is currently among the hottest trends that is shaping the telecom industry and impacting how we live, work, play and learn. By offering the ease of use, attractive packages and global mobility, Nuetel is solidifying its VOIP and VPN (Virtual Private Network) leadership," said Labib Matta, Nuetel CEO.
