The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management honours top students

The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, part of the fast growing Dubai based luxury hospitality group Jumeirah, recognised top students for their outstanding academic performance, earlier this week.

The Dean's list is one of many ways the faculty of The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management acknowledges the outstanding academic performance of its top students. In order to qualify for a place on the Dean's list, students must demonstrate achievement across courses and attain an exceptional Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.33 or above.

The top three students recognised at the Dean's list ceremony were Christopher Simon Dutt from UK with the exceptional GPA of 3.80, Anju Abraham from India, and Katarina Lukovic Yugoslavia. In addition to recognising 16 students on the Dean's list, the Emirates Academy also awarded a student group with the best Finance Feasibility Project of 2007 for the first time this year.

Guy Crawford, CEO of Jumeirah Group addressed the students by saying: "I am very proud to be recognising such outstanding performance in these students, who are bound for great success in their careers. I congratulate them all on behalf of the Jumeirah Group and commend their achievements."

The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, recently opened the new extension of its campus, which features six additional class rooms, several new offices for the academic faculty, a prayer room and two auditoria each with a capacity to accommodate 88 students. A fully equipped learning resource centre, and an additional café with in and outdoor seating offering spectacular views of Burj Al Arab.
