Tensator announces participation at Airport Expo Dubai 2007
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, April 26 - 2007 at 12:54
- PRESS RELEASE
Tensator, global leader in passenger guidance technology, will showcase a wide range of innovative products suitable for airport industry buyers across the Middle East region at Airport Expo Dubai 2007 on 28-30th May 2007.
Tensator products and solutions to be on display include:
APG, Tensator's 'Aircraft Passenger Guidance' is a robust and safe high visibility passenger guidance solution for low cost airlines that reduces passenger on-plane waiting times. This trolley and 4 post system is a portable, robust solution to ensure passengers don't stray or encroach into dangerous under-wing areas. As the APG is deployed in a single direction, it is a saving solution for low-cost airlines needing to guarantee passenger safety during boarding and leaving of aircraft.
Tensabarrier® is the world's favourite queue barrier. Installed in airports around the globe it is the cornerstone of any successful queue management system. Suitable for any size of installation: from a simple two post barrier, to a complex installation using many hundreds of posts. For added impact, webbing can also be customised with colours, logos, sales messages and corporate identities.
ECF, Tensator's 'Electronic Queue Management' is the fairest and fastest way to manage waiting passengers: all are served in the order they arrive, rather than as a result of their choice of queue. This helps queue flow and eliminates passenger frustration. In addition, pressure is reduced on airport desk employees as waiting times are dramatically reduced. Management can target staffing resources to specific periods of the day to meet peak and off-peak passenger traffic. ECF is suitable for both single and multi point service operations.
Tensabeamā is the solid beam version of the Tensabarrierā. Available as single or dual beam, stand alone or integrated with retractable webbing systems the solid beam gives a more robust system. Tensabeam can be configured for a range of applications including security gates and screens.
Rollabarrierā, the world's first stackable queue management barrier system, features a set of wheels set into the solid cast base allowing the posts to be wheeled into position. Operatives simply tilt the post, and it can be moved and repositioned without the need for a trolley or cart. The design incorporates a unique docking system allowing up to five Rollabarriers to be nestled together and stored in a compact space.
Post Transporter can hold up to 15 Tensabarrier or 12 Post & Rope posts. The low level platforms mean posts don't have to be lifted over waist height to load or unload, meeting health & safety regulations. Heavy-duty corner buffers prevent accidental damage to the Transporter & buildings. Towing plates allow two transporters to be moved together. Supplied flat pack for easy delivery.
Tensabeam Gate is designed especially for security check areas at airports to prevent unauthorised access to restricted areas. The gate is adjustable in both width & length and can be used to create double salon doors for wide access areas. The system can be used to prevent passengers from straying into security areas or to provide a physical barrier within security-check zones to stop people or goods passing through undetected. The gate can also be used as an emergency exit within a queue or panel configuration.
Tensator has been providing effective crowd control barriers to a variety of high-profile clients for over 30 years. With technological innovations and stylish new products, the Tensator portfolio has expanded into a dynamic and functional range of customer guidance and queue management systems. The extensive range of posts, wall-mounted units, customised webbing and accessories make up the most comprehensive selection of guidance systems in the world.
