- PRESS RELEASE
Strong attendance from key international exhibitors from around the globe, the quality of innovation, new partnerships and support from Dubai's municipality, all point to Garden+Landscaping Middle East as the industry's most anticipated event.
New product innovation and best-in-market practice are under a particularly bright spotlight at this year's show.
For the very first time in the Middle East, the US Company AFG Water Technology will be launching its new, pioneering technology that is designed to treat salinity of water such that it can be used in farming, agriculture and other irrigation projects.
"Equipment requirements are minimal, environmentally friendly, and 100 percent effective. Our technology has been tested for the past five years in international environmental testing labs and has proven to make vast contributions to water conservation and to have a favourable impact on the ecosystem", said Naim Ismail, Managing Director AFG. "Arid countries challenged with arid climates, can definitely benefit from this technology", concluded Ismail.
Gardens have always been a feast for the senses, and this year they are blooming in more ways than ever. Bradfield Organics, a leading company from the US have partnered with Natural Living Solutions, Dubai, and will have on display their range of natural, organic fertilizers.
"Our mission is to show people that you can have a nice garden, lawn, or farm without the toxic and wasteful side effects", said Imtiaz Kanji, Managing Director, Natural Living Solutions, Dubai,"and Bradfield Organics products can help preserve and protect the environment, as well as our life", added Kanji.
"This year it has been especially evident that exhibitors are responding positively to ongoing market and environmental challenges. Companies are specialising and diversifying their products in order to encompass more natural solutions", noted Gavin Morlini, Show Manager, Messe Frankfurt.
"It is clear there's a long-term market view and a strategy for growth that encompasses innovation, a 'can-do' attitude and an intelligent approach to environment concerns", added Morlini.
Alongside the revolutionary technologies and products on display, there are notable initiatives and partnerships that would add further value to the Garden+Landscaping Middle East 2007.
The Road Transport Authority (RTA) have announced their support to the exhibition. The recently launched landscaping department of the RTA, which has plans to allotted AED 170 million to implement Landscape projects in Dubai roads will be taking this opportunity to exhibit their plans for making Dubai a 'greener' place to live in.
Dubai Municipality both recognises and supports the importance of the show. Their major projects for Dubai's public areas include three major park areas to be completed by end of 2007. Incorporating the latest methods and designs in architectural landscaping, which include ecological solutions to conserve the impact on the environment.
