Saudi foils terror raids

Saudi Arabian authorities have arrested 172 suspected terrorists, belonging to seven separate cells linked to Al Qaida, who were allegedly plotting suicide attacks on oil fields, military bases and senior public figures, according to the Guardian. The majority of those detained are Saudi nationals but a number of Nigerians and Yemenis were also seized. Some of the suspects were training to be pilots and intended airborne attacks.
