Emirates hints at budget carrier

Emirates could use some of the Airbus A380s that it currently has on order as part of a new low-cost carrier, reported Gulf News. Maurice Flanagan, the Executive VP, Emirates Airline and Group, said there were no fixed plans as yet regarding a budget airline, which he termed a 'possibility', but added 'we could surprise everyone when we are ready'.
